Ms. Ford is an experienced litigator. She has argued a number of appeals to the highest courts, including the New York State Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals. Ms. Ford began her legal career at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit as a Pro Se Law Clerk, and then as Counsel to the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Council of the City of New York, which awarded her a proclamation for exceptional service. From 2006 to 2017, Ms. Ford worked with the commercial litigation team at White Fleischner & Fino, LLP, where her practice included commercial defense and representation of complex insurance coverage disputes. In 2018, Ms. Ford joined the litigation team at Fabiani, Cohen & Hall, LLP, where she where she continues to practice insurance litigation and construction law. In the course of this work, she has litigated and resolved many cases regarding, among other things, allegations of bad faith insurance practices, a closely watched area of law, and a topic on which Ms. Ford has presented. While successfully representing many clients in the commercial arena, Ms. Ford has maintained a footing in public interest through volunteer work and pro bono representation. One of her proudest achievements in this area was her representation of individuals seeking asylum in the United States from persecution in their native countries.
