Janet Restino Productions is a multi-faceted, multi-disciplinary sole proprietor arts company based in New York City. It is the artist’s vehicle, dedicated to creating, exhibiting and making available for purchase, her Fine Art originals on paper and canvas, sculpture, prints and photography. Commissions are welcome.Exhibitions of Art have been concentrated in NYC galleries & public spaces in solo and group shows. Recent exhibits include Cornelia St. Cafe, Jadite Gallery, A.I.R. Gallery, The Producers Club, Jackson Hall Art Gallery, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Alumni Exhibit, NYU Small Works.Restino's art is also licensed and is on various product lines including her blank note cards and prints with approx. 250 original art and photography images sold to museum gift shops, boutiques and bookstores. She has created artwork for several music venues and musicians.In 2013, she produced and hosted a one-hour Internet radio program called HEART & SOUL on www.cityworldradio.com to showcase both her writing and music and that of other musicians, writers, actors etc. The artist is also a writer of Stories, Poetry, Lyrics and Comedy and often performs in NYC clubs and venues like Cornelia St. Cafe. She is a vocalist who improvises on keyboards and performs with other musicians. Some of her performances can be found on Youtube.Her book "Canary in a Coal Mind" a compilation of stories, poems, lyrics and drawings was published in 2016 by Silvery Moonlight Press."Love's Body" is her hardcover art and poetry book with full color pages. The book was launched with a Grant from Poets & Writers.

I conducted nationwide telephone interviews for public opinion polls and surveys for CBS, The New York Times and Vanity Fair used for newscasts and magazine articles. This Computer-generated survey took 15-25 minutes, demonstrating excellent communication and listening skills to interest participants from all demographics interviewed in their homes.

As the sole person in this position, I cultivated corporate and small business owners and managers to become merchandise donors to this non-profit Agency’s two Thrift Shops. Demographic ranged from top NY Couture Designers to Off Price Wholesale Markets. Maintained relationships with previous donors to bring in a steady supply of charitable gifts.Cold called, walked Trade Shows and showroom buildings to meet potential donors; combed newspaper ads and trade publications.• Tripled dollar amount of donations in 2002, my second year• In 2001, of total number of donations I brought in, 55% were new• In 2002, I added another 48% new donor revenuesOther duties involved: arranging pickups & deliveries with trucker and staff; inspecting & inventory; doing evaluations, sending tax receipts; maintaining database, compiling activity and financial reports; attending meetings with Board Members, CFO, managers & staff; contributed ideas for sales events & marketing; designed & printed advertising & promotional materials.
