Together with its partners, the SA Endurance Academy offers a complete suite of services to support and professional manage world class distance runners.Janet is integrally involved in the scoping of the different projects, the drafting of the business plans, and the implementation within the agreed-upon budgets including the hosting of the track events, the Stellenbosch Schools Bursary Program and the Achieve Young Womens Empowerment Program.

From concept, scoping, drafting of a business plan, and budget development, to full project management and implementation, Janet directed and managed this project, the event grew from a small local road race into Africa’s only World Athletics Gold Label status marathon (2017-2020). During her tenure, it was voted as the winner of the International AIMS Green award (greenest marathon on the planet), along with being the winner of the highly acclaimed RSA Sports Industry event of the year awards in 2018 and runner up in 2019.
