I was promoted to use my management expertise for sales in the United Kingdom. In addition I managed global accounts from the Far East to the United States. I was also accountable for supervising 2 office staff and 3 sales agents and distributors in all territories. I also had responsibilities as the Personal Assistant to the CEO, handling personal and professional calendar, compiling finances and working closely with executive team to organise schedules and agendas for corporate meetings. During my tenure I handled the sign-off on a £30k budget for advertising promotions with industry publications, public relations agencies, including printed press, electronic media, and social media. I also provided ongoing operational process for the organisation of distribution in the United States and managed 10 independent sales agents across North America and one internal salesman paid by MF located in the United States and organised a warehouse in New York, United States to handle the supply of all products, including implementing a computer system linked to the Home Office to show the movement of stock.

I was promoted to Export Sales Manager in 1999 where I administered sales activities for export distributors of organization and ensure achievement of all export sales and service targets and analyse all company objectives. In addition I maintained all company distributors for assigned territories; performed regular visits to all sites, and scheduled distributor orders. Over a four year period I communicated with vendors in Taiwan to place orders for finished goods and effectively acted as a liaison between company and distributors for monthly orders.

In this position with Musical Fidelity I was responsible for managing sales processes and coordinating sales representatives. To accomplish my duties I provided support to sales teams to ensure customers’ needs were met and all dealers are visited; consulted with dealers and sales representative to ensure they were aware of new products. During this time I also supervised an administrative assistant to ensure that repairs, processing and despatching orders and procedures were being followed. Additional responsibilities included managing all financial and statistical reporting for sales ledger accounts, developing and managing standardized operating practices and procedures for supply chain, production priority, order requirements, and inventory levels for all territories. It was my pleasure to establish business relations as key liaison with manufacturers and component supply factories in finished goods orders and deliveries.

I began my career at Musical Fidelity Limited as an assistant to the company’s accountant; in 1990 I progressed to UK Sales administrative assistant, and then in 1994 I became the UK sales administrative manager. I was asked to move to the export sales division to handle administration and sales for all countries, as sales grew this role then merged into the General Manager, UK (EMEA).
