The Sustainability Ambassadors are Amazonians sharing ideas on how Amazon can help be a leader in protecting the planet and help expand efforts by our teams working directly on managing our environmental and social impacts. Around the world, Sustainability Ambassadors are focused on driving processes, mechanisms and a broad cultural change in how we approach energy efficiency, waste reduction and recycling efforts at our corporate offices and operations sites. Within the Germany Sustainability Ambassador Leadership Team, my work entailed:- pitching, planning and executing the first global company-wide "4-Week Sustainability Challenge": A project open to all employees that aims to educate, raise awareness and trigger real change in order to help people live more sustainably. In 2021, more than 5,000 Amazonians around the world have participated.- managing the Earth Day events at Amazon Germany: A week with more than 10 sessions, open to all Amazonians in Germany, giving them the chance to learn more about Amazon's business sustainability initiatives, connect with each other about how to live more environmentally-friendly and hear about how other companies engage with the topic.

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is a paid B2B service that aims to help strategic brands partner with Amazon. As a brand specialist within this team, tasks entail:- Gaining 360-degree exposure to all areas of e-commerce at a pan-EU level, owning the end-to-end relationship with brands and advising key account management partners as a business expert- Defining and implementing tailor-made action plans to boost brands’ performance, monitor success metrics on a daily basis, and ensure the brand’s experience of the AVS service is at the highest level- Collaborating with key retail functions such as Vendor Management, Supply chain management, Finance and MarketingThe role focuses on five crucial business areas:Business Advice: Identifying opportunities based on deep data analysis and providing recommendations to improve sales and margin.Selection: Helping grow selection by managing the launch of new products and improving discoverability.Availability: Driving supply-chain operational excellence by reducing costs, defects, lead times, and by managing stock in fulfillment centers.Traffic: Providing recommendations for the brand’s marketing and advertising campaigns to promote new products/increase traffic or conversion.Conversion: Planning and implementing promotional activities and improving the customer journey on Amazon through enhanced content on detail pages.
