About Janice Chen
Currently an undergraduate research assistant and specialized support worker on my way to pursuing my Bachelor of Arts + Master of Management degree majoring in Psychology and Sociology. Ever since going on a missionary trip to the Philippines in middle school, I developed a high interest in mental health related careers. I have since attended three missionary trips to various remote areas; from leading a small group on a mission team to organizing the whole trip. I love working with children and I am currently involved with research and mental health support positions that allow me to continuously learn from them. This also trained me to actively listen and communicate with children and their parents. My passion includes:Research, Children Development, Mental Health, ABA Therapy, Language AcquisitionWith excellent interpersonal and empathetic reasoning skills, I envision a future dedicated to serving and caring for individuals troubled by mental health issues.
