Duties include:• Data Modeling, ETL and Data Management in a SQL Server environment (2005,2008,2012).• Data Analysis and reporting in SQL Server, Business Objects and WebFOCUS environments on Health, Human Resources, Operational and Financial information related to Hospital and Administrative Business Services.• Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record and Millennium, the database supporting the EHR. Coding in CCL (Cerner Command Language) for customized reports and data requests.• Creating and documenting procedures and methodologies for the management of information and reporting needs.• Working with administrators and corporate leadership to identify key data sources and optimal reporting methods for information critical to financial and operational procedures.

Duties:• Data mining, analysis and statistical reporting to support operations, research, and regulatory requirements using SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server/Visual Studio environment.• Creating, managing and advising of reports on corporate data mall, a web-based environment containing dozens of reports relevant to Population Health, Medical Operations, Clinical Care, National Benchmarking and individual patient health management.• Planning and developing forms, procedures, and methodologies governing the collection of program data and statistics. • Providing data outcome and results. Prepare written reports and summaries of research or program evaluation projects, including appropriate graphs, charts and statistical tables.• Using healthcare coding schemes and/or financial coding schemes to increase the value of delivered reports.• Supporting and training staff on use of reports, applications and data.• Using HTML, CSS and Coldfusion to create custom web applications and reports.

Duties:• Assisted with programming of the Utah Population Database (UPDB), a large genealogical and vital records SQL Server relational database used for cancer, population and health-related research.• Data loading, analysis and quality control - vital records, familial records and research project-specific data in UPDB.• Supervised staff responsible for linking new records to existing individuals UPDB.• Used Ascential QualityStage, a client-server application used to perform record linking by creating record-sorting algorithms that present probabilistic results which must then be exported into a database environment and examined for viability of links. Exercises extreme care and attention to detail. Results used in biomedical research.• Technical report writing to support research projects, and ad-hoc queries for researchers regarding requests for data within UPDB.
