As Quality Analyst I was responsible for obtaining exam reports from independent doctors within the speciality of treatment. Read them, assure the questions requested by the adjuster had been answered by the doctors using medical data to support the response. Check for spelling and grammar errors, if found I would request the changes be made by the provider. Once the report was completed I would forward to the adjuster and answer any questions required.

Case Manager for Short Term Disability. Obtained medical reports from doctors to support the claimant obtaining Short Term Disability benefits from their employer. In doing so medical resports would be obtained after each visit and contact with the claimant would be made of a regular basis. If it was felt that the client was not meeting criteria the reports would be taken to a like provider on staff for review, I would request an independent medical examination and the determination on how the case would progress would be made. In some cases the claimant would transisitation into Long Term Disability or return to work.
