 Perform task such as configuring and administering Cisco routers, changing firmware – which are small and fixed service programs – on a regular basis, resolving issues with computer networks whenever they are reported and ensuring that multimedia transmitted through the networks are functioning properly. Problem troubleshooting and resolution, including interaction with site contacts, carriers, vendors and the senior level engineering group. Proactively monitoring company’s networks to detect and resolve problems and ensure uninterrupted operations of the network. Planning, evaluating and executing network maintenance activities. Participation in updating and revising policies, procedures, technical report, documentation and internal training material. Monitor system conditions, documents, any changes made to networks, constructs a procedural manual handling network problems and is responsible for maintaining network security.
