I solved big complex healthcare problems with the application of design thinking and user research. Through the double diamond framework, I was able to discover and define the specific problems we had to tackle. I interviewed 80+ participants for four different projects, hosted 10+ co-creation workshops, created solution concepts, and pilot proposals. I also had the opportunity to plan a company-wide design event to foster a budding design community.

Greater Pittsburgh Area

I was responsible for a 3-month long research project to improve patients' and clinicians' hospital experience. I scoped, created, and manage the research plan while conducting primary and secondary research. I co-hosted 15+ interviews, workshops, graffiti walls, and shadowing activities. I was able to introduce and integrate digital ethnography as a research method to widen our scope of information within a sensitive topic.

Los Angeles

I constructed 30+ 3D printed models and 3d printed 20+ parametric design prototypes. I worked on multiple residential projects by fixing Green building permits and Plan Check Drawings. I also led other interns in the design of a Concert Hall for an international competition. On the side, I also coordinated material sample acquisitions and communicated with vendors.

I learned how to create 3D models using the software, Catia ICEM Surf in an intensive 5-week internship. I had developed and honed my skill to perfect the quality of double curvature surfaces.

I produced a series of 3D Rhino models and 30+ interior renderings with Rhino Vray. I also assisted with construction documents and occupancy load calculations for restaurants and residential projects.

Volunteered to manage the gallery's interactive game installation by architect Nathalie Pozzi and game designer Eric Zimmerman while also teaching game instruction to the visitors.
