Indagare is a membership-based travel company with robust online editorial content, featuring staff-scouted destinations around the world, and a boutique, in-house travel agency.I planned bespoke luxury travel for UHNWI, including ‘round-the-world sabbaticals, yacht charters, and logistically complex, multi-stop itineraries. I supervised teams of 2-6 people and regularly led destination training sessions for staff of 80+. I regularly represented Indagare at trade shows, wrote extensively for Indagare’s magazine & website, and helped create Indagare’s highest-tier Platinum Membership product.

Remote Lands is a bespoke tour operator that creates ultra-luxury, customized trips to Asia for its high-net worth clients. Founded in 2006, the company is based in New York City and Bangkok.I dealt directly with clients, both direct consumer and travel agents, to create customized itineraries from start to finish. I managed a small team of writers and coordinators who work together to produce highly detailed, trip-of-a-lifetime itineraries.I also helped with the company's marketing efforts, including reaching out to press, organizations and potential business partners.

As a writer, I researched, wrote, and helped design the clients' itineraries.

I have written freelance pieces for a variety of travel magazines, websites and blogs since 2004. I also published a budget travel guide to my home island of Cebu, Philippines in 2005.In the US, I have written for OneTravel.com, DiscoverLuxury.com, BraveNewTraveler.com, ForbesTraveler.com, FamilyTravelForum.com., and The Brooklyn Rail.In Asia, I wrote for The Philippine Star's travel section, Mabuhay magazine, Pilmap Travel & Leisure, SEAir InFlight magazine, Asian Spirit, and many more.

I visited and reviewed over 50 hotels in the U.S., from Hawaii to New York City. Besides writing highly detailed, 2,000-word reviews, I also took professional photographs of each hotel. When I wasn't on the road, I worked out of Oyster's office in New York City, contributing to the website's blog.

As an editorial intern, I copy-edited, fact-checked and wrote articles for Forbes' travel website, ForbesTraveler.com (now absorbed by the parent site, Forbes.com).

I organized weekend workshops for graduate writing students, acting as the liaison between professors, authors & journalists and my fellow classmates.
