State Director
Current- Led a team of 63 people with a budget of $3.5M dollars to ID, pledge, and turn out a universe of 450k young voters during the 2020 cycle - Designed and executed the Michigan 2020 state plan, including data, digital, operations, organizing, and public relations/communications components - In 2019, as the operations director, I was responsible for managing a $3.5M in-state annual budget, accounting, human resources, legal compliance, and campaign finance reporting- In 2018, as the media manager, I wrote and edited all written communications such as press releases and advisories as well as statewide email communications; also responsible for all earned media placement and our entire digital program including emails, texting, and all social media content for the 2018 midterm elections- In each position, I’ve been responsible for statewide training for both organizers and senior staff at dozens of training sessions and onboardings on topics ranging from legal compliance and messaging to organizing and executing GOTV
