-Raised the profile of Marin Grassroots by spearheading the development of a significantly improved online presence. This involved creating and managing the organization’s website, blog and social media channels (Twitter and Facebook), as well as upgrading the database to CiviCRM (a Contact Relationship Management software for non-profits), and training staff on each tool. Built and manage social media and website for a community park, the George “Rocky” Graham Park in Marin City, CA. -Coordinated the inaugural and 2nd Annual "Be the Dream" Awards Celebration Breakfast in order to better involve the business, non-profit and government sector in equitable community solutions. The events were sold out and touted in the local press as a success.-Facilitated and provided support to two countywide coalitions who partnered with the Marin County Board of Supervisors to become the primary resource on social equity in relation to housing, economic development and public health related matters. Key to this activity was coordinating teamwork between a diverse group of individuals. Developed communication plan and messaging platform for one of the coalitions. -Coordinator of the 2013 Civic Engagement Campaign, disseminating and communicating civic engagement materials for 25 partner organizations as well as web-engagement through social media, e-mail and website for broader public. Organizing logistics for a 2013 Candidates Forum. -Created briefing papers, presentations and flyers to educate the community, partners and policymakers. Continue online engagement of stakeholders through the creation of issue-based e-mails using Constant Contact as well as petitions in CiviCRM.-Key point-person for volunteers and interns, helping develop their professional skills and enthusiasm for social justice advocacy and non-profit work. Managed 3 interns who worked for the organization for more than 6 months, and 5 volunteers.
