Since 2021 Erwin is leading the Market Group Public within Secura. This team is serving the sectors government, healthcare and education. Erwin is also involved in strategic customer projects like C-level workshops and advisory.As member of the Leadership Team Erwin is also in charge for quality, security and facilities, including compliance to standards like ISO 9001/ 27001 and many other accreditations. On top of that Erwin is involved in security related workgroups of Cyberveilig Nederland and other sector related initiatives.

In April 2018 Erwin joined Secura developing and building and leading three Service Lines: 1) Security Certifications, 2) Advisory & Audit, 3) Awareness & Behavior. 1) Service Line Security Certifications – Delivering test and certification services for Healthcare/ Medical Device, ICS/ SCADA, IoT, Automotive, Government and Finance. On top of that, Erwin was involved in various projects regarding the implementation of International and European regulations as well as the development and implementation of security standardization for various sectors. 2) Service Line Advisory & Audit - This team is responsible for guiding organizations regarding Security Advisory, Security implementations (BIO/ ISO 27k and related standards) and IT and Assurance Audits (BIO/ GDPR/ DigiD).3) Service Line Security Awareness & Behavior - This team is responsible for developing and delivery Security Training and an integrated Security Awareness & Behavioral Change programs (SAFE).Erwin was also leading the workgroup of Cyberveilig Nederland focusing on quality and transparency.

Until march 2018, Erwin was heading global operations for UL's Transaction Security division, covering: advisory, training, certification and testing services. This operation of 200+ FTE was serving the payment, transit and id markets. Today this team is split in advisory and education services and UL's global test centers.

Since 2016 Erwin was responsible for leading the EMEALA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America). This team consisted of sales, marketing, various expert and delivery teams. Being for 10 years with UL (formerly Collis), UL proved to be a great place to work. Erwin was also member of the Executive Leadership Team of UL's Transaction Security Division. Besides his role as Managing Director EMEA-LA he is also responsible for Strategy, Quality & Security and other corporate responsibilities.

Erwin Jansen was heading the international Service Line Test Centers of UL Transaction Security focusing on: ensuring secure and interoperable payment products and systems by delivering test and certification services to international clients. UL's Transaction Security division ensures secure and interoperable products and systems by certifying: smart cards, (embedded) secure elements, handsets, POS terminals, ATM's, processing platforms, switches as well as payment transaction technology implement in other markets like transit. UL's Transaction Security test centers are equipped with a knowledgeable team of experts, that can manage the certification process from start to finish, by delivering test management, testing, certification and validation. The long-standing relationship with industry bodies like MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, JCB and China Union Pay and national and international relations help our customers with the best and optimized approaches for getting their product through the approval process.UL is focusing on a lot of new business including setting up large scale global test centers for schemes and other customers, addressing drivers like EMV migration US, mobile interoperability for NFC (SE or HCE implementations), integration payment and transit and many more.Since 1 July 2015 Erwin was also member of the Executive Leadership Team of UL's Transaction Security Division. Besides his role as Director Test Centers he was also responsible for Strategy, Quality & Security and other corporate responsibilities.

Heading the Payment Competence Centre within Collis. This department delivers advisory and training for the banking industry. Erwin has been responsible for many migration and implementation projects in the domains: cards (EMV), payments (SEPA), ecommerce and mobile. This team was delivering globally to banks, schemes, processors, vendors and other stakeholders in the payment industry. As payment expert Erwin is quite informed in today’s developments, innovations and challenges and delivers significant added value in knowledge innovation and defining Collis vision on the World of payments. Erwin has been speaking and moderating on congresses and customer trainings.

Responsible for building and growing the Collis Test Center, a team responsible for testing payment terminals, payment cards and executing various researches on payment transaction processing. In this role Erwin was responsible for leading the outsourcing of the payment terminal test center from Equens (Interpay) to Collis (nowadays UL) and grow this to an international recognized test lab.

Responsible for operational quality, process, continues improvement and management reporting.
