This new legislation called for a new tool which is used to request, update, judge and pay grants for farmer(-collectives) who perform some kind of landscape management based on plans by the provinces.I am part of the team as testcoordinator, responsible for the system, integration and functional acceptance tests. I coach several functional testers next to planning, writing, automating and executing tests myself, both on the written application as on several data analyses. I am also responsible for several improvements in the areas of defectmanagement, releasemanagement, automated regressiontesting and overall test maturity

The Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center Maastricht (CAC) is the central point of contact in Europe, caring for the needs of current and prospective Mercedes-Benz and smart customers. Our Customer Service departments answer customer enquiries and complaints, while the Service24h department organizes roadside assistance for customers. The Retail Services department supports technical and product related competencies for the CAC, Daimler and external parties.At Mercedes Benz CAC, I worked as testcoördinator / test engineer for the "Concierge" service. Where customers can use an in-car button to ask any kind of question (information, locations, phone numbers etc, sport results etc.) which will then be answered by a call center agent. This agent can also send back information (route, POI etc) to the car. There is a shared (between Mercedes Benz and a third party) back-end needed that handles all the call routing, information population and feedback. I was responsible for the functional tests of this system, from writing a testplan to releasing the product as part of several bigger releases.

Philips Lighting is a leader in energy efficient lighting solutions and new lighting applications and employes several thousand employees worldwideAt Philips Lighting, Joris worked as a testcoördinator / lead test engineer for the iOS app team working on Philips' hue product (a system of led-lamps, sensor, switches and a online portal which allows users to automate their lighting experience, all of this driven by a smartphone app. www.meethue.com). Here Joris' responsibilities included scrum-master for a team of up to 8 people, part of which was based in India, defectmanagement, releasemanagement, reporting to and communicating with other productteams, marketing and management. Joris has been involved in several major (functional) and minor releases of the app and in multiple hotfix releases.

These funds are managed by Asset Management.At Asset Management, I was testcoordinator, responsible of the system tests for the Central Data Warehouse, where daily processes filled databases with externally and internally delivered data to, through several steps, provide reports for our investors.This DWH was maintained and updated by a team of 10 to 20 developers, information analysts and test analysts. I coordinated, planned and executed the system testing for changes and projects concerning this DWH, and led a team of up to 6 testers and developers.
