As a member of the automation team at cPanel, I am responsible for writing and updating automated tests, as well as implementing Playwright libraries and frameworks across multiple platforms. This includes the cPanel & WHM product, plugins, and the cPanel store (store.cpanel.net).Over the progression of the SDET role, I:* Contributed as part of a product team that overhauled the cPanel UI theme, ensuring functionality across hundreds of features for end users (email, database management, file management, etc.)** As part of this team, I developed both manual tests and automated Perl tests (with Selenium)* Helped with the transition from the legacy store to the new store website* Close to the end of 2023 I joined the small automation team enabling playwright automation for the product (cPanel & WHM), product plugins, and the store (https://store.cpanel.net)* Starting in late spring, I've contributed to the store automation library, unblocking store SDETsI have a passion for finding and preventing bugs, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. I have over 3 years of experience in writing and updating automated tests in Playwright (JavaScript) and Perl (Selenium remote driver), as well as reviewing code submitted by other SDETs.In addition to my automation experience, I also have a strong background in technical support and analysis. I have worked as a Technical Analyst Team Lead and a Linux Technical Analyst II at cPanel, where I gained experience in troubleshooting customer issues, developing and implementing solutions, and providing technical support to customers and colleagues.I am proficient in software testing, Git, and agile methodologies. I use Jira, Testrail, and scrum/agile practices to collaborate with my team and deliver high-quality software solutions.
