I worked for Smith & Williamson for over 20 years advising real estate and growth businesses. I provided external audit and assurance services, financial reporting and accounting advice and training for boards and senior finance teams. I worked with AIM listed and private companies, international groups, owner managed businesses, partnerships, off-shore structures and a variety of not-for-profit organisations. The majority of my clients were within the real estate sector, an area I specialised in throughout my career. I led the firms Real Estate Sector Group working with a wide range of real estate sub sectors including investors, developers, property management companies, house builders, construction businesses, hotel operators and registered providers of social housing. I planned and coordinate the firm’s programme of activity and resources for finance directors.
