My responsibilities include developing and supporting UK-wide national services provided to over 14,000 young people and 8,000 volunteers. • Supporting desired strategic outcomes by navigating complex relationships with key sponsors to create a five-year training vision and strategy.• Maximising key stakeholder and user involvement in services development by introducing a set of systems and processes which empowered clients, consumers and volunteers and ensured the services were value driven and effective.• Improving service development and support teams' productivity and performance significantly after introducing project management and performance management systems which focused on individual motivation including CPD personal development.• Establishing a culture of unity, trust and teamwork by positively influencing the relationships between volunteers and the organisation with reduced bureaucracy and improved communications, including an out of hours support line for volunteers.• Ensuring a UK-wide consistent user experience by introducing a quality assurance process for organisational activities which increased the support, guidance and resources made available.
