Time management is a major part of this role as I must balance the requirements of multiple different labs and teams, often with contradicting needs. All while complying with stringent safety, environmental, and QA requirements. This role requires excellent situational awareness as I am often surrounded by many hazards and in close quarters with chemists handling radioactive material, so following correct procedure to ensure the safety of myself and my colleagues is paramount. I have also sought out technical training within the labs with the goal of becoming a user of and performing maintenance on HPLCs.

In this role I had to further develop my communication skills to help serve customers who often had poor English or disabilities. I often had to multitask as occasions arose where I needed to fulfil multiple different roles on the shop floor at the same time. During my work in hospitality and retail I worked shifts at multiple other stores and so had to quickly adapt to a new team/working environment.
