The first time I ever took off in a commercial airliner, at 10 years old, was a surreal experience for me, the feeling of the wheels leaving the runway and getting pushed into my seat by the G's, I couldn't stop smiling. I knew from that moment that I wanted to fly airplanes for the rest of my life.In the time since that moment, I graduated high school and took a gap year to begin my pilot journey, I attended a small Part 61 flight school near my house and began flying and working full time. I successfully got my private and paid for it completely on my own in that year. After that I began attending college at the Florida Institute of Technology and where I am currently finishing my sophomore year with an academic 4.0 GPA.Since arriving at school I have discovered my passion for teaching, due to this I have gotten my Basic and Instrument Ground Instructor Certificates to give me the ability to teach what I love. I then got a job working at my local flight school teaching ground knowledge and I have an amazing time doing it.Currently I am still working as a Ground Instructor and am also finishing up my Commercial License.
