Current project - Exec Producer/Director of TEXAS 6 (CBS All-Access) is an eight-episode docuseries that takes place in Strawn, Texas and follows the Greyhounds, a high school six-man football team under the direction of Coach Dewaine Lee, as they attempt a three-peat for the 6-Man Football State Championship. While football remains the spine of Strawn, TEXAS 6 ultimately depicts the spirit of a small town and a team that shows up for one another on and off the field.As a former senior video journalist at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram he was voted Digital Story-Telling All-Star for his doc-series Titletown, TX which chronicled the dream season of the state champion Aledo Bearcats. The series would go on to win five Emmy’s at the Lone Star Emmy awards, the 2017 OJA Award for Excellence in Innovation and Digital Storytelling and two Edward R. Murrow awards for Excellence in Innovation and Excellence in Video. It also picked up first place from the APME for best use of video by a news organization in Texas.His short doc The Last of the Iron Lungs (for Gizmodo) went certified viral garnering more than 40 million views.He’s worked with many digital news leaders including Gizmodo, Indigenous Media’s 60 Second Docs, AJ+, Washington Post, Discovery Channel, AFP, The Weather Channel, Bleacher Report, SBNation and others.He is currently working on a documentary that centers on Texas death row inmate Paul Storey and the attempt to save his life by the family of his victim.Awards:
