I am currently a senior at Iowa State University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with concurrent MBA. I am seeking job opportunities located in the USA specifically in product design roles that value design for manufacturability.Proficient in Creo Parametric and Creo Simulate, Solidworks 2D and 3D, Matlab coding, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. I also have experience with 3D scanning, design, and printing software. With this software I was able to 3D scan a ball valve and then model it in Solidworks. Used CADD to design and then 3D print a keychain. I have also worked in virtual reality labs to test different machinery and used CADD Software to design and produce a nameplate.I have 4 years of leadership training experience with an emphasis on how to effectively lead a team. I have been able to showcase these skills as a Destination Iowa State team leader and as a percussion section leader. During Destination Iowa State I was tasked with leading a group of 15 incoming students during their first week on campus. As percussion section leader, I not only helped younger members practice and transition from middle school to high school, but also helped organize various team building activities. I have also volunteered with boy scouts to discuss different types of engineering. Discussed different engineering topics such as energy and motion and then led them in completing a small engineering project to help them achieve their engineering badge. I had internships at HNI in summer 2018 and 2019 and a project management internship with Caterpillar during Summer 2020. I am currently seeking full-time employment starting in May.
