I built new landing pages and website layouts, iterating improvements, in HTML and CSS using the mobile first approach then web. I applied layouts to WordPress templates and worked to improve multiple company managed website’s UX.

I managed the company's e-commerce website of over 5,000 products with a team of two other developers. I used JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, and Ruby on Rails to transition old web pages to a new Ruby on Rails platform while also developing new pages that simplified our user's shopping experience. I also gave guidance when needed in email marketing template design.I built, launched, and managed the company's WordPress blog in addition to working on long term projects for the company website. I collaborated with my team of developers and the marketing team to meat tight deadlines and quickly produce online sales tools.

I worked on designing and developing user interfaces. I designed wireframes and took them to full development stage using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

I was able to rebrand most of the print identity of the Art Department at CWU. I created a logo, graduation progress forms, a directory, art gallery postcard templates, as well as student recruiting signage. This was a great experience that gave me the chance to grow as a Designer as well as create some visually compelling portfolio pieces.

I was the Vice President of the Graphic Design Club at Central Washington University. I got the club recognized by the school for the first time in years, and planned events for the club with the Club President. I created the Club Facebook page in order for graduates to keep in contact with current students as well as a way for people who couldn't attend meetings to stay informed. We attended AIGA Events and had organized meetings regularly to allow students to get feedback on work, present inspirational work or books they found, as well as just expressing struggles in classes that the club members could assist and relate with.
