As a summer intern for Signature Bank, I spent my time in Funds Transfer Operations, attaining end to end knowledge of the high value payment process flow from wire initiation to execution. Moreover, I learned all of the various controls and touchpoints throughout the life cycle of a wire.As part of a major cleanup initiative, I reviewed and analyzed repetitive templates to ascertain usage and made recommendations for deletions, thus optimizing the payment system's database. I also spent time shadowing the Director of Funds Transfer in an effort to attain an understanding of the responsibilities of running a day-to-day operation.
