As a Data Engineer at Macquarie Group, I lead the migration of legacy ETL pipelines from AutoSys to Airflow, hosted in AWS, for daily financial operations. I also design best practices to support continuous process automation for data ingestion and data pipeline workflows, and develop proprietary Airflow plugins to simplify complex business logic. I leverage my skills in Python, SQL, and Docker to deliver scalable and reliable solutions for data engineering challenges.Prior to joining Macquarie Group, I was a Data Engineer at Aberdeen Standard Investments, where I collaborated on and led the construction of new tools to handle future analytics needs, using PowerBI and Paginated Reporting. I also led the migration of a legacy Data Warehouse from on-premise to cloud, and re-designed and developed a critical ingestion pipeline to process private markets data. Additionally, I automated business processes and quarterly reporting, using Alteryx, Python, and PowerBI, and supervised the analytics team. I have a BS in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University, and I am certified in Data Science with R, SQL Fundamentals, and Data Science with Python. In my leisure time, I enjoy volleyball, basketball, and producing music records.
