Jared N. Hawkins is a native of Burns, Oregon. He received his law degree in 2004 from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, graduating with honors. Shortly after passing the bar in Washington he entered the United States Air Force as a Judge Advocate (JAG). As a military attorney he had a diverse practice of law in advising military commanders, service members, and their families on a variety of matters including administrative law, employment law, contracts, environmental law, real property law, landlord/tenant disputes, wills, and criminal justice. Over the course of 6 ½ years he gained significant litigation experience serving in roles as both a prosecutor/government representative and a defense counsel in administrative proceedings and misdemeanor and felony level courts-martial. Jared joined Virtual In-House Counsel in September 2011 and is admitted to practice law in Washington. Since joining Virtual In-House, Jared’s practice has included issues related to employment law, unemployment compensation, landlord-tenant disputes, contract litigation, general civil litigation, real property, estate planning, traffic infraction/violation cases, debt collection, small claims court, and a myriad of other matters. In 2014, Jared took over ownership of the firm and renamed the firm, Hawkins Law.Jared volunteers as a member of the local (Noon) Rotary Club, his church congregation, and a local Boy Scout troop. He also volunteers time as an attorney for the Blue Mountain Action Council Volunteer Lawyer Program, Walla Walla Sheriff's Foundation, and the United Way.
