I am studying Business Management at Utah State University with an emphasis in Human Resources and a minor in entrepreneurship. I have been active in the USU Entrepreneurship Center for the last two years. I competed in the 2022 Lassonde Entrepreneurship competition and placed in the top 9. I am a 75K Founder and I also competed in the USU Shark Tank Night. I am the secretary of the USU SHRM Chapter.I own a business called Battle Ball that hosts exciting bubble ball soccer events all over Northern Utah. We have hosted hundreds of events and helped thousands of people make memories and connect as they run, bounce, roll around, and laugh together.I work as a Package Center Supervisor at the Logan UPS Distribution Center. I enjoy interfacing with package car drivers and customers each day and making sure packages are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.This last summer I completed an internship at Target in Centerville as their Executive Intern. I learned how to motivate employees by getting to know them on a deep level to better speak to their personal needs and motivations. I learned the importance of being a versatile manager so I could contribute in each department as needed. I refined my skills with regard to inventory management, supply chains, data analysis, and human resource management.I served a full-time mission in Lima, Peru for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I greatly increased my love and appreciation for unique people and cultures during this time. I learned that a smile and sincere conversation mean so much to people. I strove to remember the details of each person's life so I could pray for them and help them establish meaningful steps to achieve their goals.In high school I was valedictorian. I placed a high priority on my schoolwork and woke up at 4:30 every morning for two years to take advantage of the most productive hours of the day. I was an Allstate Athlete in Tennis and Cross Country which is given to varsity athletes who maintain a 4.0. I was vice president of the Representatives which is a student government position. I competed in the Vex Robotics Nationals competition and took 2nd place out of 100 of the top teams in the nation.
