Oversee and manage projects and estimators companywide along with design, engineer, and estimate costs for projects involving: fire alarm, CCTV, CATV/MATV, structured cabling systems (UTP and OF), security, nurse call, wireless clocks, intercom, public address, audio/visual, and VOIP technologies. All projects that are awarded to Gallaher come across my desk for design/engineering/review. Establish a working relationship with AHJs in order to install systems per their respective codes/standards, meet customer needs, and help reduce costs. Work with architects and electrical engineers when necessary provide system design and specification upon a customer’s request. Review projects after they have been completed to assess what could have been done more effectively and review to see if estimated project margin, material, labor numbers were met.
