As Senior Data Governance Analyst for Northwest, I lead the design, development, and implementation of data governance and data quality functionalities, policies, and processes in support of the data governance program, including the translation of business rules to data quality rules and the execution of those data quality rules through data profiling processes. I also lead the data governance team and business partners in the root-cause investigation of data quality issues and develop proposed solutions to remediate those issues, manage the development and maintenance of program-level metrics and reporting for oversight committees, lead product demonstrations to showcase the functionality of our tools and technologies, and train business users on navigation and application of those tools and technologies.

As a Data Governance Analyst, my primary objective is putting our Data Governance Framework into practice. Working alongside Data Product Owners, as well as Business and Technical Data Stewards, I identify and document critical data products and their underlying critical data elements, determine the business rules that govern those critical data elements, and establish the necessary relationships between these assets within our tools and technologies to complete the picture of our data landscape and ecosystem. I also leverage our tools and technologies to establish a data issue reporting and remediation process, and have designed program-level reporting to track and monitor the progress of the Data Governance Program.
