I am currently an Associate Principal Regulatory Compliance Advisor at the Options Clearing Corporation. I have been with the organization for just over five years. In my current role at OCC I assist with regulatory exams from our regulators and Auditors, built and maintain our Legal Framework that demonstrates compliance with OCC’s regulatory obligations, assist with policy/procedure creation and maintenance, as well as control writing/testing. Previously I was a Compliance Analyst for Wintrust Financial Corporation. My concentration was focused on compliance Fair Lending and Marketing analytics, as well as developing and distributing new and innovative Wintrust Compliance trainings for updated regulations and changes within the industry. I was with Wintrust for three years before moving to OCC. I was a student at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. I graduated with a finance major and a double minor of economics and Spanish. I was the captain of our CFA challenge team at Carthage College, which finished 2nd in the regional competition for financial and investment analytics. I also attended the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with the intended major of international business, with a minor in economics and Spanish. At Whitewater, I was the racquet coordinator and stringer for the men's and women's teams. I also attended Carthage College my freshmen year of college where I was part of the Men's tennis team, e-board for the Model United Nations club, and joined the Tau Sigma Chi fraternity as the pledge class president. In my 5 years of college I have learned much about what it takes to succeed in the real world and how to be a leader through it all. I have been around business my whentireole life. Both of my parents owned their own businesses and were very successful. When my family moved up from Florida to where we are now in Wisconsin, my father became the national sales manager for Drag Specialties, a company out of LeMans corporation. I also have held several jobs, some for large companies, some for small businesses, so I have been able to see both ends of the spectrum. With this background in the business world, I knew from a very young age I wanted to do something in it. As I grew older, I found that my personality really gave me important qualities to have in business, qualities like communication, leadership, determination, and personability.
