To train all employees, new/current, in Logistics processes new and recurring with a goal of enhancing performance, productivity, and quality of work, both for the individual and for the department as a whole.Updating training material for training class to reflect the current processes of the department as a whole.Coordinating new hire training program and managing first two weeks of new hire employment.Creating new processes, procedures and reports for changes made within the department.Working with individual employees as problems occur. Troubleshooting problems, determining priority of issue: whether single issue or recurring problem. Working with other departments, specifically IT and Billing, to resolve recurring issues, including creation of reports, adjustments of processes and changes to software systems.Working with individuals on any processes or procedures they need assistance with including, but not limited to: McLeod, Document Power, TimeForce, MacroPoint, Outlook, Internet Truck Stop, DAT, ADP, and all procedures within.Interviewing new logistics candidates for broker and sales roles.Various projects and duties as assigned daily.Working with agents in regards to issues they may have with the coverage of their freight.Overseeing Admin Personnel responsible for updating and maintaining various carrier and department information.Creating new procedures and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of department. Maintaining and monitoring day to day items for Admin personnel. ex: attendance, productivity, general management. Overseeing Admin Personnel responsible for tracking and monitoring of unbilled orders Overseeing attainment of Carrier paperwork required for billing of Logistics loads Assist primary Billing department in the Billing of allocated Logistics loads
