This includes an AWS services infrastructure along with an Electron based application to bring the website to the next level. I've worked on many aspects of the solution, including coding, CI/CD pipeline, release, installers and auto-updates. Traditionally, scale has been a problem at Pardot so one of the biggest initiatives that I undertook as principal on the team was to revolutionize Pardot APIs to be quicker for customers with 50+ billion records. My team and I added APIs for large scale ingestion and exfiltration (aka Import API and Export API), both receiving and sending hundreds of thousands records an hour through an asynchronous, job based framework.Starting in 2020, I designed and built a synchronous, low-volume RESTful API; the focus being consistency across the 200+ endpoints and providing industry standard practices. Under the hood, the API is generated using static metadata and augmented with code. This framework allows for the best practices and standards of the API to be codified, while allowing other teams to extend it with new endpoints, often with very little engineering work. This is a big win for customers, due to new features being added, and a big win for engineering teams by reducing development and testing time to deliver new features. Show less

This project combines more than 15 individual SOAP APIs into a set of REST endpoints containing everything to display and modify records within an application.In July 2018, I extended the User Interface API to allow for aggregation, allowing for multiple, heterogeneous endpoints to be executed on the server within a single HTTP request. One feature of this API is referencing results of one operation in subsequent operations, which reduces the “chattiness” of API calls. Performance is also increased through the use of in-memory caching between operations in a single request, with some endpoints seeing a 50% decrease in response times when paired with like endpoints. GUS, Agile Project ManagementDeveloped collaborative software on the Force.com platform to manage Agile assets like User Stories, Bugs and Sprints that are used by all members of Product R&D. The front-end was developed using Backbone.js with JQuery. Deployments every two weeks with automated testing using Jenkins with an 80% unit test coverage supplemented with Selenium functional tests.

Designed and developed Java based software solutions using IBM Websphere Application Server with DB2 on an AS/400. Acted as lead developer for the Notice of Injury intake web application which replaced a manual process of taking insurance claims over the phone with a consumer web application. One main feature was an automatic assignment for claims.

Maintained and updated the Hillsborough County Website and the County Online Information Network (intranet) using ColdFusion and JavaScript with Microsoft SQL Server.
