👋 Hello! I'm Jared, a Marketing Coordinator passionate about graphic design, craft and creative problem-solving. With over a decade of experience in delivering excellent customer service in the retail industry, I've honed my communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.🌟 Throughout my academic journey at Deakin University, majoring in Interactive Media, I consistently achieved distinctions or greater in all major units. I served as Project Manager for a six-month Industry Capstone Promotional Materials Project. I sharpened my ability to liaise with clients, provide regular project updates, and effectively communicate with my team members. I also developed other crucial project management skills, such as planning, task delegation, and adapting timelines when priorities shifted.💼 In my professional life, I've been a dedicated team member at Kmart since 2011. Over the years, I've held many positions, from Retail Assistant to Team Leader and Online Supervisor. My responsibilities included supervising the online fulfillment team and ensuring store targets and company deadlines were met. Additionally, I have obtained training in operating walkie stackers, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks.I have recently been appointed as Marketing Coordinator at Step Fwd IT where I craft and execute marketing strategies to drive brand growth and engagement. My responsibilities include coordinating campaigns, managing social media content, and organising events for clients and staff.🏆 I’ve been honoured to receive recognition for my dedication and contributions throughout my professional journey. Some of the awards and accolades I’ve had the privilege of receiving include the prestigious Think Customer, Reach Higher, Grow Together, and Live Integrity Awards at Kmart.At Step Fwd IT, I was elated to receive a quarterly Employee Recognition Award for ‘We Are Supportive’. These awards reflect my commitment to excellence and my passion for making a meaningful impact in the workplace.🔧 My technical skills include expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Microsoft Office, and Cyberlink PowerDirector. I'm also proficient in project management tools like Trello and Slack.🚀 Now that I’ve completed my degree and begun a new chapter at Step Fwd IT, I'm excited to continue to leverage my academic knowledge and professional experience to embark on new challenges and contribute to innovative projects.
