As a NSF Graduate Research Fellow and a Ph.D. graduate in Nanoscience from the Joint School of Nanoscience & Nanoengineering (JSNN), I specialize in atomic scale physics of 2D materials, with a strong passion for bridging the theory-experiment gap through computational methodologies. My dissertation research focuses on developing numerical methods to analyze the forcefield interactions between pyrene derivatives and a 2D interface, using neural networks for high throughput configurational space exploration.By leveraging this expertise, I aspire to contribute to the simulation and screening of cutting-edge sensing devices utilizing 2D materials, such as aptamer-based biosensors for rapid and accurate diagnosis of various biomarkers. I have published two peer-reviewed articles on hydrogen production and nanomaterials, and I have also participated in the Resident Scholar Visitor Program at Penn State University, where I gained exposure to the National Science Foundation funded Two-Dimensional Crystal Consortium – Materials Innovation Platform (2DCC-MIP). I am a neurodiversity advocate and a lifelong learner, always eager to expand my knowledge and skills in the field of nanoscience.
