My role as a manager within Liberty Utilities newly formed Operational Excellence department has been dedicated to developing, deploying, and improving a lean management derived continuous improvement framework throughout the network of utility providers owned by the company. This includes rolling out huddles, data driven problem solving, and developing dashboards and KPIs related to operations, productivity, and actions related to the company’s SAP conversion across gas, electric, and water modalities.Results:- Coached local president, director, manager, supervisor, and frontline (union and non-union) level employees through continuous improvement framework. Currently totaling 200 employees and growing rapidly.- Develop and improve approach to roll out of CI framework with teams to focus on lessons learned and gaps for future roll outs.- Develop, automate, and deployed SAP data sourced PowerBI dashboards as tools for teams to use in data driven problem-solving.- Lead and coached others on value driven problem-solving initiatives to drive operating costs down. Initiatives include reducing non-capitalized overtime, supply chain related costs, non-critical spend, and increasing productivity through work management systems for indirect savings.Coaching Responsibilities:- Facilitate deployment of CI framework following SAP implementation at a company owned utility. Includes setting goals, building visual controls and information centers, deploying huddles, identifying problems and root cause, solving problems, and putting best practices and sustainment models in place.- Identify and develop a network of local SMEs to sustain CI system after deployment.- Facilitate complex problem solving at team and cross functional levels utilizing the 8-step problem solving approach.

In my role as a Sr. Specialist within National Grid’s Global Supply Chain Performance Excellence team, I applied my background in supply chain management with my work in process improvement and Lean/ Six Sigma experience.
