Berkadia is one of the largest originators and servicers of multifamily and commercial mortgages in the country. We arrange mortgages through capital sources including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, Life Insurance Companies, CMBS, Banks, Bridge Lenders, and our own proprietary lending programs. My personal responsibilities are to originate multifamily and commercial mortgages for my clients and add value to their businesses.

Participated in all aspects of the transaction process from screening and evaluating financing requests to underwriting loans, negotiating loan docs, and closing real estate transactions, which included construction loans, term loans, unsecured revolving lines of credit, subscription lines of credit, and letters of credit. Part of a team responsible for managing a $3.3 billion portfolio of real estate transactions primarily located in New York, NY and Washington, DC. Actively monitored construction loans, approved borrowing requests, and served as the primary contact for participant banks in JPM-led deals.

Supported senior bankers in managing a $350 million loan portfolio of real estate transactions primarily located in Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV. Responsible for evaluating market conditions while assessing risk and repayment capabilities of borrowers. Participated in client calls, customer meetings, bank group meetings, and property tours while gaining exposure to cross-sell strategies and products.

Worked in Real Estate Capital Market's 2 year rotating analyst program working 6 months in each of the following groups: CMBS Origination, Portfolio Management, Defeasance Group, and Tax Credit Asset Management.
