Built video department from the ground up. Managed a team of 4+ in-house and freelance media creatives. Purchased and maintained cutting edge video and photo equipment valued at over $20,000. Curated an approved media archive and a media asset library.Responsibilities included:- Creating multiple videos weekly for training and internal communication, managing all projects from script through distribution using self-designed video production workflow protocols- Handling all aspects of video production including all storyboarding, direction, cinematography, editing, motion graphics, color grading, audio mixing, and sound design- Managing and delivering 300+ high quality pieces of video content by communicating with vendors, contractors, colleagues, and direct reports to ensure projects were delivered consistently, accurately, and to schedule.Performance exceeded expectations and was recognized with two promotions in 2.5 years.

Created original content for various video projects for Lorne Michaels’ digital agency, including title graphics, motion elements, and design transition. Maintained video production schedules of multiple projects to ensure content met the production timelines laid out by stakeholders.

Organized all aspects of recording operations for 8 projects for Ben Relles, Head of Innovation at YouTube Originals, including production schedules, location confirmation, and equipment setup both on and off-site. Edited time-sensitive videos to be shown at the program’s video premiere.

Prepared, sourced, and edited footage using Premiere Pro for the director of short form content.

Constructed sound and lighting setups for biweekly film shoots and helped coordinate a team of 15+ people. Managed elements on set – including equipment and talent – ensuring the shoot finished on time and successfully. Wrote script coverage by reading and analyzing screenplays, providing insight into the films in order to determine market viability for investment potential.
