As a collections officer my main focus is to negotiate payments on mortgage accounts with arrears. This role involves the management of mortgage accounts alongside other secured debts on both residential and buy to let properties. This role involves all aspects of negotiation with customers with varied financial backgrounds. My primary focus is to secure agreements that will help customers bring there accounts up to date within a fair and manageable timeframe. With such a varied client base, I work with customers with all levels of arrears on mortgage accounts varying from 1 missed payment, to accounts going through litigation and then on to the point of property repossession.

This position involved a wide range of responsibilities including; selecting and recording areas to canvass, keeping track of and reporting weekly sales figures, managing and training employees in all areas of customer service, product knowledge, and direct sales techniques.
