Hi! I'm Jared, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, passionate about innovation and problem-solving. As a first-generation Latino college student, I'm committed to breaking barriers and inspiring diversity in STEM. What I'm Up to:Currently, I'm actively involved in on-campus organizations such as Super Mileage, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and Latinx Cultural Association (LCA). I also work two part-time jobs as a Scholar Mentor for Cal Poly Scholars and a Research Assistant for the College of Engineering.Future Aspirations:Post-graduation, I am actively seeking full time position or internships within the engineering sector to further develop my skills and make a sustainable impact.About Me:Originally from Fresno, California, I enjoy outdoor activities such as soccer, running, and basketball.
