Jared & Erin Miller have joined Athletes in Action as (basketball) missionary staff after years of successful coaching, counseling, and administration; primarily in Christian Schools. Jared is now the Basketball Director for AIA & Erin serves as the Director of Operations for the Athletes in Action post grad team. An ambassador for Christ & a builder of people and programs, Coach Jared Miller brings diverse coaching experience to Athletes in Action Basketball. Miller has coaching experience in a few other sports but has coached basketball since 2002 at various levels. Integral in the growth of Mountain Mission School (VA) to the national level, Jared has also coached at Sunrise Christian Academy (KS), & Tri City Christian Elite (NC). Finding his niche with international players since 2013, he has coached 40+ college athletes; 25+ division 1 basketball players including a McDonald's All American, unanimous NCAA player of the year, an NCAA National Champion, and 2 current NBA players including a draft lottery pick and NBA Champion. Several alumni in Miller's programs have begun professional careers overseas. For most of these student-athletes he also facilitated their coming to play in the US. This vast & diverse experience has allowed Jared to build many relationships within the basketball community."Erin & I are thrilled that God has led us back to Ohio to serve as full time missionaries with Athletes in Action after nearly a decade out of state in Christian school administration and athletics.
