Around the turn of the new millennium I began pursuing the dream of becoming a unique filmmaker. My interest spawned from documenting the daily lives "The Hustle" of musicians who were breaking into the music business. I created visuals through concerts, music videos, skits, and studio sessions. While producing these projects I noticed a niche in the way struggling artists were attempting to expose themselves. This is where the passion developed... a love for the art and beauty of telling stories through motion pictures.In the year of 2004 I relocated to Southern California to expose myself to new opportunities and challenges. I studied Television Production and AVID non- linear editing at Goldenwest College, simultaneously interning at TCtv in Torrance, CA. Here is where I began networking myself into this highly competitive; yet rewarding industry... my passion only grew.Since I have worked as an outright producer on a number of highly successful commercial and independent projects for production companies including Partizan, Iconoclast, Optimus One, Flying Fish, Drafthouse Pictures, and Third Eye Filmworks. These projects include working with clients such as: Casio G-­Shock, Shimano American Corp, Ferrari Club of America, Audi America, Formula Drift; not to mention over 100 music videos produced for the likes of Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, RCA, Atlantic Records, etc. Benjamin Troubles my first feature film project is distributed in all English speaking territories and the China. In 2017 I spent the majority of the year consulting PROam Studios (a division of Pop-Life Entertainment) in building their filmed entertainment machine that includes the only turn-key production studio in South China; which is a massive 250,000ft2 structure with over 70 standing sets.http://www.checkmatefilms.comhttp://www.imdb.me/jaredlundy
