I recently began instructing group fitness classes at F45 Training Westmount. Being able to facilitate the improvement of others has been my greatest inspiration, whether it be through helping them to reach their fitness goals or refining their functional movement patterns . I'm skilled in fitness training, injury prevention, sports coaching, rehabilitation, nutrition and wellness. Living a healthy lifestyle is extremely important to me, as I believe that it enables me to do my best work. I'm passionate about motivating others to live their fullest lives by providing guidance on exercises that are best suited to them. During my undergraduate, I had the opportunity to coach speed skating and soccer for youth. I worked with children aged 3-15 to develop general movement and sport specific skills, which has given me insight into the importance of developing physical literacy at a young age. I recently attended a Physical Literacy and Youth meeting, where we discussed different solutions to addressing the growing need for physical literacy across Canada.In my spare time, you can find me engaging in some form of movement. I have a strong passion for functional training, and I am always looking for new ways to improve my sport related skills. My favourite sports are tennis and squash, which I participate in on a weekly basis. Additionally, I love spending time outdoors. During summer, my activities of choice are hiking and back country camping, while in winter, I enjoy trail running and skiing in the mountains.
