Hi, I'm Jared Ng, a final year student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic studying Early Childhood Development & Education. I am passionate about equipping the next generation for the future through quality education.My journey as an educator has been enriched by various learning experiences through my modules and internship. I firmly believe that every child, regardless of background, race, religion, or socioeconomic status, deserves access to quality education in a safe and nurturing environment.What sets me apart is my experience working with children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and language difficulties. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience and a step-by-step approach to help children reach their full potential. During my internship at MOE Kindergarten, I provided one-on-one support, focusing on letter recognition, letter sounds, and blending.Throughout my course, I have learned to be an intentional teacher, carefully planning activities and materials. I have conducted several lessons during my internship, reflecting on areas for improvement while developing focus child portfolios. Collaborating with colleagues of diverse working styles has emphasized the importance of teamwork and effective communication in planning meaningful learning journeys for children.In addition to my studies, I have been actively involved in my CCA, CRU, where I served on the fellowship team. Together, we organized various events, including a Christmas party to share the holiday's message. I also contribute to my church's sound team, where I manage sound mixing for worship services. These experiences have honed my event management skills and adaptability in various situations.Overall, I consider myself a strong team player who prioritizes effective communication and readiness for any circumstance. With the skills and knowledge I have acquired, I am confident that I can be a valuable asset to any team.
