I am a student at Auburn University, majoring in Building Science. I also have a part-time job at the Auburn Campus Recreation and Wellness Center as a Facilities Supervisor.My current job has taught me a lot about how important it is to make great connections with the people you work with, especially the people you work for. I have made many friendships with my fellow supervisors during my short time I have worked there. That coupled with my work ethic has seemed to pay off for me as I was awarded with an employee of the month award in just the first month that I worked there and was promoted to supervisor in my first semester working at the rec. Being a full-time student while also being a part-time employee has definitely been a hard thing to manage. But, I believe that my work ethic and my GPA have proved that I have found the way to make it work, finding how to balance between the two. When I am not studying or working, I am either working out at the gym, playing basketball, or listening to my favorite podcast, "Pardon my Take".
