I'm a seasoned IT professional with experience in many business settings and industries. My current role is as a Sr. Systems Engineer / Jack of all Trades at an MSP. In the past few years my really interesting work has been in network design/implementation, security and risk (vulnerability assessments/mitigations, risk assessments, email and network security controls, and security frameworks NIST/CIS). However, I have a well-rounded background including but not limited to: Windows and Linux client and server management/support, business continuity/disaster recovery, SQL, network administration, process-automation, systems monitoring, business leader/management guidance, and end user support. My colleagues know me as a thorough and detail-oriented worker who can accomplish goals quickly, yet effectively. I really strive to make technology work for the people who are using it, as I believe that it can really make a difference in an organization. I am always eager to learn, and am always pursuing knowledge. I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Indiana and an associates degree in CIS from Ivy Tech.
