Lead Service Designer
CurrentService Design, while more common in Europe, is an emerging discipline in the United States. The primary aim of a service designer is to support the development and design of services so they meet the needs and desires of the end users. The practice of service design is most closely related to the field of UX but it ultimately differs in a few key areas. While both UX and service designers are concerned with the end user experience, UX designers tend to be more focused on experiences that are delivered through technology. In contrast, service designers sit higher up within organizations and are focused on the processes, people, systems, and policies that all come together to create a service.
