These solutions are built on a case by case basis for customers and are nearly always customized to meet their specific business needs. Part of this involves working directly with the customer to ensure that what I'm building fulfills their requirements.These customers are typically leaders in their respective industry and usually only come to my team because they have already pushed Adobe's products to their limits and need a little more.This is a very exciting job with a lot of variety and opportunity to learn new things. I worked on a team of 6 people to maintain and improve the company's customer center, registration web service, and licensing system.The Customer Center was used by customers to create support tickets, download software, get access to license keys, and find support documentation.The company's applications would connect to the registration web service to verify their license check for and download any updates. This was used by the enterprise Suse OSes to register and patch themselves.The licensing system was used to issue license keys, create new licenses, and had integrations with the customer center and registration web service.All of this was built with Java and ran on an Oracle database. We had some systems running on JBOSS 4 and others on IBM WebSphere 7. The systems were tied together using a JMS ESB.

I worked on custom solutions for Adobe Analytics customers. This usually involved moving data between our platform and other platforms.One of the more exciting things I built while there was a dashboard/reporting platform that could be used to give a customer's leadership better insight into how well their online business was performing based on their Adobe Analytics data. This solution was built using PHP, MySQL, Adobe AIR, Flex, and AS3. The server-side portion involved creating a REST-based web service that would provide data to the dashboard client. It also involved connecting to SOAP and REST-based web services to fetch the data for use in reporting.

I maintained the backend for an eBay analytics product. I also maintained a content management system that had a built-in shopping cart and merchant gateway integration.One of the cooler things I built was a web front-end for the eBay analytics product. I had to figure out how to visualize data on the web back in 2008 and had to optimize JavaScript execution to deal with hundreds of thousands of auction records.I worked mostly with PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript there.

Lineo was a company that was working on one of the first general embedded operating systems. Think of it as a really primitive Android OS.I worked here during my Junior and Senior years of High School.
