Built a structure to compare our Composite Fund returns to self-defined peers over calendar and rolling periods. Utilized external technology to build a structure that compared the Composite Fund returns to the opportunity of either a global 60/40 or US 60/40 benchmark, including risk and return characteristics. Built an internal structure to compare the ex-ante capital market projections to a time-series of ex-post returns from our general investment consultant. Built a structure using API to create a dashboard of expected returns of public equity markets around the world by region. Validated expected return methodology of capital market projections using regression analysis and enhanced our capital market projections by forecasting relative returns of the size factor premium.Configured the process and dashboard for an external technology system for post transaction cost analysis which provided more accurate and timely information as well as could save roughly $25,000 annually. Took over negotiations for a technology platform that resulted in enhanced value based on cost-benefit analysis. Negotiated with investment managers which resulted in roughly $1M annually in investment management fee savings. Developed human capital internally as a panel member on the hiring committee for a system analyst and business analyst, as well as a panel member for developing a new internship program to create a pipeline of potential future staff. Developed a presentation for the Commissioner of Education. Delivered presentations for our internal Center of Excellence program, to the Chair of the State Board of Education (SBOE), to the Deputy Commissioner of Finance as well as to the Committee on School Finance/Permanent School Fund that was live-streamed (Item 9 of link).
