Part of a special project team working as internal consultants, being mentored by McKinsey Consulting, to help departments within the organization to improve their processes using LEAN tools and methods. I worked with three departments: Aftermarket (Parts Technical); IT-IDS (Mainframe and UNIX); and HR (Recruiting). Successes included:- Helped the Parts Technical group to identify Kaizen points to incorporate into the next generation of the Parts-Pro application, result: they now do in 5 minutes what used to take over 3 days per week to do.- Thinking outside the box, I helped the IT-IDS group identify and create a strategy to recapture software licenses with a goal of $500K but the group ended up saving almost $1.1M.- Helped host and interpret the 48th IBM Executive Special Tour from Japan here at DTNA.

- Worked closely with the non-captive major component suppliers and cross-functional DTNA teams to produce successful workshops leading our group to contributed millions in cost saving initiatives.- Was the team lead on several additional projects, including pitching an idea to the CEO and successfully implemented a S.T.E.M youth outreach program to encourage careers in the engineering and transportation industries (over 600 youth attended over 2 years); working on HR talent management initiatives; a dealership initiative; and leading a team of consultants to identify a part cost of complexity number that has been accepted by Finance and approved by company executives to be integrated into the business models of Controlling.

Analyzed and identified business cases as part of the Mexico Sourcing project team, personally identifying and completing initiatives totaling $6.34 million in year-over-year savings.

- Designed all marketing, radio and print campaigns and the OCA website. Editor of the association newsletter, which included securing advertisers- Increased association membership by over 260% over the course of three years and monthly revenue by over 700% through setting up an e-commerce extension of the website- Spearheaded legislative advocacy on key issues, researched information for legislative use, and testified before Senate and House Committees- Conducted training classes for contractors in procurement, PMO, and estimating methodologies
