CurrentAs a dedicated Multilingual Learner Case Manager, I play a pivotal role in supporting the academic success of diverse learners within the KIPP Chicago community. My mission is to ensure that all Multilingual Learners (ML) receive the tailored instruction and resources they need to thrive academically and socially.🔑 Key Responsibilities:-Instruction & Assessment: I teach small groups of English as a Second Language (ESL) to empower students in developing their English proficiency skills. By creating differentiated lesson plans and providing bilingual support, I help ML students excel in their grade-level content.-Case Management: I manage all services for ML students, ensuring compliance with state and district regulations. This includes maintaining accurate records, administering assessments, and monitoring student progress in collaboration with classroom teachers.-Family Engagement: I prioritize communication with families, leading effective meetings to keep parents informed and engaged in their child's learning journey.📈 Key Performance Indicators: I am committed to meeting ambitious goals, such as ensuring that all ML students achieve passing grades and meet their growth targets in reading and math. I work tirelessly to maintain 100% compliance across our EL programs, fostering a supportive and effective learning environment for all students.🌱 Professional Development: I actively pursue best practices in multilingual education through ongoing training and collaboration with fellow educators, advocating for equitable instruction and sharing insights to enhance our programs.
